Greetings Fellow Veterans and Veteran Supporters:
We are asking for your help to make sure U.S. Veterans, their families, and our new Afghan neighbors are aware of this new, free service. To support the response to recent events in Afghanistan, The Independence Fund [1], in partnership with Loyal Source [2], is proud to offer US Veterans, their Caregivers, their families, and the Afghan Special Immigrant Visa recipients and refugees now in the United States, a professionally manned call center, The Independence Line [3].
The toll free line (+1 855-341-5456), manned from 8 am to midnight every day, provides free assistance from highly trained and qualified case managers and clinicians to help Afghans now in the United States navigate the resettlement process, find assistance with their new lives in the United States, and get the resources they need for themselves and their families.
Likewise, The Independence Line aids U.S. Veterans, Caregivers, and family members find assistance and proper mental health counseling to address issues which may arise from the current situation with Afghanistan. No one will be turned away, and all are encouraged to reach out for assistance.
The Independence Fund and Loyal Source ask each of you to publicize this service to your members, followers, supporters, clients, and on your social media channels. Attached are a number of documents to make this request as easy as possible for you:

* Service flyers describing The Independence Line in English, Dari,
and Aashtu languages.
* A social media package with pre-drafted social media posts, pictures, and other content to make this as easy as possible for you.
We appreciate how the military and veteran communities came together to support both the U.S. veterans and military personnel who served in Afghanistan, as well as our Allies now in the United States, and look forward to helping you, your members, and our new Afghan neighbors find the help they need.
