Pray without Ceasing

Are your thoughts centered on the day ahead, or are your thoughts focused on the Lord? The important part of each day is the quality of time you spend with the Lord.
However, most of us feel rushed and don’t believe we have enough time to spend with the Lord. If you desire a closer walk with the Lord, you must spend time with Him before the day begins to get directions for the day. Spending time in prayer and reading the Bible daily will result in a better productivity and time well spent. When we ask the Lord for directions and to help us make the best decisions, we should be talking to him in prayer. The Lord will give us wisdom and understanding as well as increase our strength and free us from our anxiety when we go to Him in prayer daily.
So, as we continue into this Year with its demands and challenges, let us continue to look to the Lord and start each day making time for Him. You will find his peace and joy awaiting you. He will guide your decisions, give you wisdom and understanding, empower you, and comfort you daily with His love.

Prayer
Dear Lord, thank you for showing us throughout your Word how your followers cared for one another. Whether in greeting or at a time of departure, they often asked for a blessing of grace for one another. Please send your blessing of grace to all those we love, all those we encounter, and all those we hope to lead closer to you. And may your grace encourage us and lift our spirits, just as it did for all who received it in the early church centuries ago in Jesus’ name. “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit” (Philippians 4:23). Amen.
