Veterans Day Resource Fair and Veterans Day Ceremony

 

 

The National Association of American Veterans, Inc. (NAAV) will participate in this year’s

“Veterans Day Ceremony: WW I Centennial (1918-2018): We Will Never Forgotten” and Veterans Day Resource Fair co-hosted by the Veterans Employee Association and HUD’s Veterans Affinity Group (VAG) on November 8, 2018 in Washington, DC.  This event is scheduled for Thursday, November 8th at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), 415 7th Street, SW, Brooke-Mondale Auditorium, Washington, DC 20410 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (EST) will provide access to services and resources available in the National Capital Region (NCR) as well as hosting a former presentation Honoring and Recognizing WW I Veterans.  In addition, a special presentation on the 2019 Tricare changes will take place at 9:30 a.m.

 

The keynote speaker for this event is Dr. Paul Lawrence, Undersecretary for Benefits, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs along with Mr. Chip Fulghum, Deputy Under Secretary of Management, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and Sam Shellenberger, Deputy Assistant Secretary, Veterans Employment and Training (VETS), U.S. Department of Labor.
