Veteran Crisis Line – Dial 988 then Press 1

Good morning,

I’m reaching out again on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention (OMHSP) to invite you to share the VA suicide prevention resources for Veterans on your website, newsletter, and social media pages.

My hope is that you can regularly share VA content and encourage Veterans and their families to use the resources and care which are there for them.

Here are some links, which I’m hoping you’ll find helpful:

Veterans Crisis Line – Spread the Word page:

[1] Spread the Word – Veterans Crisis Line [1] You Are Not Alone. The Veterans Crisis Line is available to Veterans and their supporters 24/7. Through a powerful Veteran-to-Veteran message, this video encourages Veterans to call when they go through a difficult time and need somebody to listen.

VA Mental Health – Suicide Prevention

[2] Suicide Prevention – Mental Health [2] If these symptoms lead to thoughts of death or suicide, it’s important you talk to someone right away. The Veterans Crisis Line offers free, confidential support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Make The Connection – Spread the Word page:

Spread the Word | Videos & Info for Military Veterans – Make the Connection [3] Stories of Connection. Watch, read, and listen to Veterans and their family members share real stories of strength and recovery, find useful information and local mental health resources, and explore ways to show your support.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need any specific or customized content.

Let me know if I can be of any help!
