Learning to Walk by Faith

One reason some individuals may have little faith may be caused by insecurities, challenges, and uncertainty in life. If you continue to let these feelings rest over you, then you may cause a cloud of dismay to come over you.

Reading God’s Word in the Bible and making a list of the dependable and secure factors which surrounds you can encourage your soul and spirit. For example, such things as the good earth, whose seed time and harvest can be depended upon. The sun never fails to come back and shine through the clouds. You may have the love of family and friends. You are alive and have your mental health.

If you believe that with God, all things are possible you will develop strong faith trusting in God and knowing that through Him all things are possible. Never build your hope in yourself but place your trust and hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 John 5:14-15 says, “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” Luke 18:27 says, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Matthew 19:26 says, “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, ‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

So, thank our Lord God that you are alive and can eat and think. Trust in God each day of your life on earth and lean not on your understanding and in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. Your faith will grow stronger and your insecurities will diminish.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I feel overwhelmed most of the time by the daily challenges in life. The world seems out of control, and full of evil particularly with the COVID 19 crisis worldwide. Sometimes I feel alone and I’m seeking courage and strength. Please help me remember that You made this world and declared it good. Lord, give me the comfort of Your presence and the confidence to trust you even when nothing seems to change. Lord, help me to wait on You and to be of good courage for You bring strength and peace to my heart and my spirit to carry on in this life filled with trials and tribulation. Lord, please strengthen my faith in You, and help me follow Your way as I move forward daily reading your holy Word. In the Lord Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
