Homeless Veteran Reintegration Program

America Works of Washington, D.C. (AWDC) is partnering with the United States Department of Labor to provide employment readiness and placement service, as well as housing support, to homeless Veterans of the District of Columbia and the surrounding metropolitan area. The Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) is the only federal Program dedicated to providing employment assistance to homeless Veterans. Program Eligibility: Veterans who served in the active military and were discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable [38 U.S.C. 101 (2)]. Those who received a “dishonorable” discharge are ineligible for services. Veterans must be homeless.
