Be Thankful

Many people find themselves focusing on thankfulness. The Scriptures in the Bible tells us that to “give thanks to the Lord” must be a foundation for our everyday life. Giving thanks to the Lord God means having an attitude of gratitude for our spiritual and physical health yearly. The Bible says that we should look to our Heavenly Father who provides all good things for our life on the earth. The Lord our God gives us all good things and that is our response should be to always give Him thanks.

Scripture Verses About Expressing Thanks to Our Lord God of All Creation

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with Praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all.” (Psalm 100: 4-5)

There are Scripture verses throughout the Bible that tell us about God as our Creator and Sustainer, and how we should be thankful people before His throne grace. The list is endless containing Scripture verses on why we should be thankful to God. More Scriptures to read to receive and embrace His unconditional love for all humanity on the earth.

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” (Psalm 95:2-3)

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (1 Chronicles 16:31)

PRAISE the LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Remember me, O LORD, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation.” (Psalm 106:1, 4)

Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!” (Psalm 107:15)

 

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore, my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.” (Psalm 28:7)

I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers; You have given me wisdom and might and have now made known to me what we asked of You, for You have made known to us the king’s demand.” (Daniel 2:23)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I enter Your courts with thanksgiving, and I enter Your courts with praise blessing Your Holy Name. (Psalm 100:4) I give thanks to You for You are good and Your mercy endures forever. Merciful LORD God, show me where I can make an impact by helping someone most in need of Your love today. LORD, fill my mind with Your wisdom and give me

 

the courage to follow Your instructions, even if they differ from my present thinking. LORD, my greatest purpose on earth is to love you and my neighbor and to serve You faithfully by being a

service to others You send my way. I give You thanks, O LORD God Almighty, the One who is and was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned. (Revelation 11:17)
