When All Else Fails

When all else fails and all your plans do not work out, remember there is one whose plans never fail. His name is Jesus Christ, there is only one thing He cannot do and that is fail. Just to tell you about some of His names or attributes, He is known as a Way maker, Almighty God, Promise Keeper, Miracle Worker, Healer, Provider, Deliverer, Merciful God, True and Faithful, the Truth, the Light, and Everlasting Father. He is a God who has never lost a battle and never will. He is a God that has great plans for you, to take care of you, not abandon you and plans to give you the future you hope for. He wants you to know that He loves you with an everlasting love and will be with you throughout eternity.

When all else fails, He will be there to pick you up and let you know, He has something greater and bigger just for you. Talk to Him and He will show you marvelous things. He says his people know His voice, and they will never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of His hand. When we fully understand that our worth and significance is entirely in our relationship to God through trusting our Lord Jesus Christ and that we were worth saving and worth dying for, then we will seek Him first and He will show himself mightily in our lives.

He is the only God that can boast that He died, was buried, and rose again for the love of the people that He created. He would not have died on the cross to leave you hopeless and helpless. Are you still breathing, are you still standing, are you above the ground? Then God is waiting on you to call upon Him and He will answer. When all else fails, will you call upon Him?

In the book of Daniel it reads, “The people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.” He loves you so much that He will cause you to triumph and be victorious. As you yield to Him, He as so much in store for you. He can do

exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think. Things that were impossible will become possible with God. If you stay connected to Him, your steps will be

ordered by Him, you will have favor and awesome opportunities. Setbacks will lead to opportunities, and you will soar like never before and blessings will overtake you.

When all else fails and you put your faith in God believing that He is going to bring you to a place of unexpected blessings, you are going to see the surpassing great favor that has God for you. When all else fails, seek, and ask Him for wisdom. What you cannot do own your own, Lord Jesus can do through you. When all else fails, remember, there is a legacy of testimonies in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation about the miracles that God performed. Maybe you have read about how David killed Goliath the Philistine giant and saved the Israelites, about Daniel in the Lion’s den, how Esther was used to save a nation, when Peter walked on water, when the disciples healed the sick, when Joseph went from prison to being second in charge to Pharaoh at the palace, and the greatest miracle of all when our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, died at the age of 33, was buried and rose again and is now sitting at the right hand of God the Father in heaven as our Great Hight Priest making intercession for you.

Your blessings from God cannot be stopped. His Holy Spirit is here to help you all the way. He is your Advocate. In Christ Jesus, you have a God that is all powerful, all knowing and all present.

Know that you are a conqueror through Christ that love you. When you are in Christ, if death does come it is not the end but a beginning of being with our Lord, if you lose your job, geta divorce, children running wild, lose your home or possessions, these things do not define who you are. In Christ, you are an overcomer and like Job in the Old Testament, you can gain more. Your latter end will be greater than your former beginning. Hallelujah! Praise the LORD our God!

It is time to keep moving forward, shake yourself off, fall on bended knees, have faith in God and see Him NOT fail.

When you determine that your purpose in life will be to know Jesus Christ deeply and intimately and to become so acquainted with Him that you want to be transformed into His likeness, you will be well on your way to success. You will overcome in areas you thought impossible, you will see God move in your life like never before, you will let others know what He is doing in your life. There will be blessings upon blessings.

When all else fails, lets live for our Lord Jesus Christ. He died on the cross for our sins because God considered that we were significant and worth saving. We cannot fail in our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the author and finisher of our faith.

Scripture Verses for Meditation

Prayer succeeds when all else fails.” God declares in His Word that “He will guard the feet of his faithful ones, but the wicked shall be cut off in darkness, for not by might shall a man prevail.” (1 Samuel 2:9), but by His strength, so why does God say, “He will guard the feet of his faithful one?” Our feet are one of our most vulnerable places as far as what causes us to stumble. When God guards your feet, He is saying He will guide your feet and ensure you walk in the path that He show us.

Lord Jesus says if we seek the kingdom of God above all else, He will take care of our needs such as bread, water, clothing, and shelter (Matthew 6:33). Life is a lot more than things … life is about Jesus Christ and trusting in Him.

My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (Psalm 73:26)

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” (Psalm 23:1-6)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplications, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that ‘if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.’” (1 John 5:14-15)

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to peak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.” (Colossians 4:2-4)

He rules by His power forever; His eyes observe the nations; do not let the rebellious exalt themselves. I cried to Him with my mouth, and He was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the LORD will not hear. (Psalm 66:7, 17-18)

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I know that I am a sinner and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins; I repent of my sins. I invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
