Website/Social Media Promotional Content
Veterans, Servicemembers and family members who are NASCAR fans, we’ve heard that the Richmond International Raceway (RIR) and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are teaming up again this year to drive your VA benefits and services home. From September 9-10 VA will be on site at the RIR track in Richmond, Virginia, setting up a Mobile Vet Center where you and your family members can talk with VA health and benefits experts about the benefits you’re earned and deserve.

Even better, RIR is offering a special ticket price for Veterans and their families for the 9/9 Virginia529 College Savings Plan 250 NASCAR XFINITY Series race, as well as their traditional military appreciation program discount for the Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race! For more information on this event, go to RIR’s website and type “Veteran offer” into the search field. Look for the “Driving VA Benefits and Services Home” page to learn more.

Also, if you’re in the Richmond area on September 8, you can join VA staff and NASCAR drivers at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center. Not only will you have the opportunity to learn about your VA benefits and meet NASCAR drivers, but you will also be able to see a NASCAR pace car!

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity. Learn about your VA benefits and services during “The Last Race to Make the Chase!”
