The LORD God is our Righteousness: The Answer to Abolishing our Sins

The Lord Jesus Christ can and will heal a broken heart. Why do you need a Redeemer?
The Bible says that we are all sinners. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) “Who can say, ‘I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin’”? (Proverbs 20:9)

Why do you need God’s plan of salvation?
The Bible says you cannot solve your sin problems on your own or by doing good works.
Romans 8: 3 says, “For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” “Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, to those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart for sin, for salvation.” (Hebrews 9:28)

Why did the Word of God have to become flesh?
The Bible says since Adam and Eve (humanity) sinned another Adam would have to pay the penalty for sin. “Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.” (Hebrews 2:17)

Why did the Lord God tell Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden that the penalty for sin is death?
The Lord God told Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden that the penalty for sin is death.
“Therefore, it is was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices that these.” (Hebrews 9:23)
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the Spirit.” (1 Peter 3:18)

Why did the Lord Jesus Christ die on the cross?
The Bible says the Lord Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave and ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father as the Great High Priest.
“Who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.” (1 Peter 3:22)

Will the LORD Jesus Christ return to the earth?
The Bible says that the LORD will return to judge all humanity.
“For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.” (Matthew 16:27)

What must you do for the LORD Jesus Christ?
The Bible says we must repent (turn) from sin and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in water and filled with the Spirit. “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

Can you please the LORD our God in some other way?
The Bible says there is only one way to receive God’s gift of salvation. “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” (John 14:6)

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You for hearing and answering my prayers every day. Lord, please bring me where I need to be and work Your will in my life. I thank you for salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. Help me to remember that I am only a steward of all you have given me. Help me to always be willing to give back to Your work here on earth. Lord, help me to always gird myself with Your Word always praying without ceasing. Help me to pray for other believers to do the same so that we can stand strong against the attacks of the Satan daily. Enable me to daily be sensitive to Your voice guiding and directing me away from evil. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
