Knowing God’s Amazing Grace and Plan of Salvation

It does not matter what has happened in your past life on earth. No matter what you have done, no matter how you have lived your life in the past. The LORD our God is personally interested in you right now. He cares about you. The LORD God understands your frustration, your loneliness, your heartaches and He wants you to come to Him, and to know Him personally.

Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “God is so rich in mercy, and He loves us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Jesus Christ from the dead. It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved.”

God loves you.

God created you and me in His own image. His desire is to have a personal relationship with you. He wants you to belong to Him. Sadly, our sin gets in the way. It separates us from God, and without Him we are dead in our spirits. There is nothing we can do to close that gap. There is noting we can do to give ourselves life. No matter how well we may behave.

But God loves us so much He made a way, to eliminate that gap and to give us new life. He is life – and wants to restore the relationship. His love for you is so great, so tremendous, that He sent Jesus Christ, His only Son, to earth to live, and then die – filling the gap and taking the punishment we deserve for refusing God’s way.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”

Jesus Christ, God’s Son, not only died to pay the penalty for your sin, but He conquered death when He rose from the Grave. He is ready to share His life with you. Christ reconciles us to God. The Lord Jesus Christ is alive today. He will give you a new beginning and a newly created life when you surrender control of your life to Him.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

How do you begin this new life? You need to realize … “the necessity of repenting from sin and turning to God, and of having faith in our Lord Jesus” (Acts 20:21).

Agree with God about your sins and believe that Jesus Christ came to save you, that He is your Savior and Lord. Ask Him to lead your life. John 3:16-17 says, “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.”

Prayer for Salvation:

Lord Jesus Christ, I do believe You are the Son of God and that You died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins. Please forgive me. I turn away from sin and choose to live a life that pleases You. Enter my life as my Savior and Lord.

I want to follow You and make You the leader of my life. Thank You for Your gift of eternal life and for the Holy Spirit, who has now come to live in me. I ask this in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

The LORD God puts His Spirit inside you, who enables you to live a life pleasing to Him. He gives you a new life that will never die, that will last forever – eternally. When you surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, you are making the most important decision of your life on earth.
