God’s Plan of Salvation: Salvation Through Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

The Bible gives God’s open invitation that says, “Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near” (Isaiah 55:6). The Lord Jesus Himself invites you saying, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We may say that the LORD God know what is in our heart inside and out – our strengths and potential, our fears, and weaknesses. Yet God, who is pure, holy, and righteous hates our sins; however, he still loves us. He wants us to repent and turn from our wicked ways “from darkness to light … that we may receive forgiveness for sins” (Acts 26:28). The Lord Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life” (John 8:12).

To make forgiveness possible, God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ who died in our place on the cross and rose for our justification on the third day. We no longer must suffer for our sins or spend eternity forever separated from the love of God. The Lord Jesus Christ promises that “He who hears My Word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life” (John 5:24).

Will you receive Him into your life today – or will you take a chance on missing God’s gift of salvation and eternal life?

Sinner’s Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins, and I ask You to forgive me. I open the door of my heart and receive You as my Lord and Savior. Take control of my life and begin making me that person You want me to be. Thank You, Lord Jesus for saving me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Your daily walk with the Lord should include reading your Bible every day; taking to God in prayer daily and finding a church where the Bible is taught as the Word of God. Life is short but eternity if forever! “Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am alpha and omega, the beginning, and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do His commandments that they may have right to the tree of Life and may enter in through the gates into the city. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.” (Revelation 22:12-14,21)
