Eternity with the LORD our God

The LORD God has given us the Holy Bible a priceless gift filled with His promises to help us with every area of our life on earth.  Let’s trust God’s promises as a guide for our journey to our heavenly home and for His gift of eternal life to all who repent, believe and accept the LORD as our personal Savior.  You can start by spending time each day reading God’s promises and prayers in the Bible to guide you and change the direction and quality of your life.

As you began to trust and obey your Creator, they you will learn that God always keep His promises, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life” (1 John 5:11-12).  Eternal life is contingent on a personal relationship and trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Assurance of salvation leads to confidence in our petition.  Effectual prayer is according to His perfect will.  The Bible also describes the coming Messiah, His kingdom, ad His priesthood as eternal (Isaiah 9:7; Psalm 45:6; 7; 110:4).  Here are a few Scripture verses taken from the Bible to help you know more about the eternal God of our refuge and strength.

“And behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?  Jesus said unto him, “If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.  But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:16, 21-23)

“For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 NKJV)

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.  Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.  For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:17-19, 21 NKJV)

“How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!” (Psalm 36:7 NKJV)

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.” (Ephesians 6:15)

“He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” (Psalm 91:4 NKJV)

“And now why are you waiting?  Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.” (Acts 11:16 NKJV)

“As you have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.  And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus whom You have sent.” (John 17:2-3 NKJV)

“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have red3mption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.  His is the image of the invisible God, the first-born over all creation.  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.  All things were created through Him and for Him.” (Colossians 1:13-16)

“And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.” (Hebrews 5:9)

“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.” (Titus 1:2)

“That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:7)

“Whosoever hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life

Abiding in him.” (1 John 3:15 NKJV)

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being my eternal Father.  You are the everlasting light.  Help me to hear Your voice when You call me.  Holy Father, remember and save my family and friends in need of salvation, the rapture, healing, comfort, and financial relief.  When we are plague with the discomforts in life would You let Your light shine on us each day.  Lord God, thank You for being our rock, strength and divine healer.  One day we will see You face to face and our trials and tribulation will come to an end.  In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.  Amen.
