Black History Month Celebration – Double Victory: African Americans in Times of War

 

Secretary Ben Carson and the Robert C. Weaver Chapter of Blacks in Government in celebration of BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2018 on Thursday, February 8 at the Brooke-Mondale Auditorium. National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) curator Dr. Krewasky Salter will join the program to discuss this year’s theme, African Americans in Times of War. Dr. Salter, a United States Army Colonel (retired), curated the NMAAHC inaugural exhibition: Double Victory: The African American Military Experience currently on display.
