3rd Quarter 2025

Fall on the Leaves of Change Testimonies

1

July~August~September

The National Association of American Veterans (NAAV) Inc., is a fact-based Veteran Service Organization (VSO). In fact, NAAV is: “Committed to assisting service members and disabled veterans and their dependents, particularly severely wounded warriors and single-parent service members and veterans, by helping access their benefits; improving communication and coordination with the VA; and collaborating with the VA and other veterans’ groups, health agencies, medical professional organizations, educational organizations, and the public in support of veterans, their families, and military caregivers.”

NAAV is: “Committed to serving all service members and veterans who served and are serving in the United States Armed Forces.”

NAAV is: “An advocate for veterans’ rights.”

We are here at the end of 2025, 3rd Quarter i.e., July, August, and September months to remember or forget? I say we summarize the many facts of the matter as NAAV gave peace, freedom, and joy to many veterans and their family members. The “Holy Spirit” truly did shine on the leaves… The leaves of worry—and this we know. Read on below.

  • Welcome to NAAV 3rd Quarter Testimonies!

First, we’d like to invite you to meet a new friend of veterans and let them testify of their goodness:

A Testament to Service Beyond Service—This is what we’ve learned so far:

The Centers For Opportunity (Home – Centers for Opportunity), [testifies] “we stand in profound reverence before the men and women who have given so much in service to our nation. To be entrusted with assisting our veterans transition into their dream jobs after serving in our nation’s military is not just our mission, it is our sacred honor.

This is what they do: CFO [testifies: “Every resume and cover letter we compile, every interview we facilitate, every job placement we celebrate represents more than professional achievement. It represents a continuation of service, a bridge between the courage displayed on battlefields and in bases worldwide, and the resilience needed to build new lives in civilian communities.”

This is how relationships are developed: [At CFO], “We are humbled by the trust veterans place in us during what can be one of life’s most challenging transitions. Their stories of perseverance, their unwavering work ethic, and their commitment to excellence inspire us daily. When we witness a veteran walking into their new workplace confident, prepared, and ready to contribute their exceptional skills—we are reminded of why this work matters so deeply.”

This is why we do what we do: “To our NAAV family: your advocacy amplifies our impact. Together, we are not just assisting veterans in obtaining new employment ventures; we are honoring the promise that those who serve our country will always have champions in their corner.

This is where we meet… on common ground: “It is our privilege to serve those who have already served so much!”

In partnership and gratitude,

Sara K. Cotten

Employment Director

NAAV receives note of gratitude from a caregiver

“Thank you so much NAAV, Inc. for your emergency caregiving assistance in support of my beloved mother. 1 John 4:19 says, “We love Him because He first loved us.” Thanking you, NAAV, Inc. for showing the love of Christ Jesus to our mother and me with the monetary blessing NAAV gave. share it with others. Our prayer is that the Lord continues to bless NAAV and you, and keep you and [may] heaven smile down [on] you for [all] you do for others most in need [of] encouragement and comfort nationwide.”

NAAV kept their home from going into foreclosure:

I thank my God in so much for you your organization. You are truly a Godsend, willing, and working vessel for the Lord. Through all the chaos, division, and confusion that’s in the world today, you continue to press on helping veterans in Jesus’ name. My wife and I can’t thank you for once again being there for us. We have been dealing with a whole lot this year. I mean from having health issues, death in the family, and decline in my income. I had to give up my job. Even though I am disabled too like my wife, I still been working. Ms Burns your prayers and generosity has really helped lighten the burden for us. I thank my
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for being with us and keeping us alive. Just as His eyes is on the sparrow and take care of them, how much more will He take care of us who surrendered to Him. Miss Burns keep on doing the work because that’s your joy and calling. May God continue to bless you and take care of you.”

Love and Appreciate you So Much,
  Johnnie and Hattie, Sandersville, GA
