When you feel weak, tired, and overburdened by the challenges and storms of life there are many Holy Bible verses about strength in the Psalms. In Psalm 18:2, we read the beautiful promise that: “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust.” This Holy Bible verse tells us that we can find strength in God and trust in Him in time of need.
In the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, we learn about Jesus’s strength when He endured the agony of the Cross to save humanity. Our Lord and Savior showed us that strength involves courage, patience, and faith and is not just physical. In the Old and New Testament, we learn that our strength comes from relying on God, trusting in His divine will, and having faith in His amazing love for humanity. No matter what kind of challenges or difficulties we face in life, we can draw on the strength of God to get through these challenges and storms of life.
Here are a few Holy Bible verses about strength to encourage and uplift you when feeling weak. Remember, that our power and strength comes from our LORD God who gives us
His love, peace, and strength in our life on earth.
Some Holy Bible Verses About Strength

Exodus 15:2 “The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. His is my God, and I will exalt Him.”
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
1 Chronicles 16:11 “ Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His face evermore!”
1 Corinthians 16:13 “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.”
Ephesians 6:10-13 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” Put on the whole armor of God, what you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of weaknesses in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
Ephesians 6:14-18 “Stand therefore, have girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication n the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”
Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you
peace.”
Every day declare Jesus to be LORD God over every area of your life. Pray to the LORD that you keep your heart in His hand every day as LORD of your life.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I invite You into my heart each and every day to be the Lord of my life you have given me. I pray that You will be Lord over my mind, thoughts, attitude, and emotions. Be Lord over my health, marriage, children, finances, giving, spending, and relationships. Be Lord over my dreams, fears, and future forever. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
