Wait for the LORD

In the world, we live in most of us often complaint and demand when we want something or cannot get what we want. Wait is generally a word we do not what to hear. However, the Bible says, the Lord our God wants us to wait on Him for the perfect timing. Waiting on the Lord our God means patiently waiting on Him for our provision and need. First, we had to wait on our salvation from God through our Lord Jesus Christ. King David learned that he had to wait on God for his salvation (Psalm 62:1). David also learned that only the Lord our God could deliver him. Second, our heavenly Father alone hears our prayers (Psalm 62:8).

Therefore, we must always place our trust and hope in Him. Most often our prayers are centered around asking our heavenly Father to bless us right now and to provide for our wants. But most often our Lord God may be saying to “wait on Him and to be patient.” Doing times on our journey in life that we must wait on the Lord and be patient, Psalm 5:3 says, David prayed “Listen to my voice in the morning, LORD. Each morning I bring my requests to You and wait expectantly.” Know that we can always trust in the LORD our God and wait patiently for His response, when it comes to us.
