Our Lord Jesus Christ Speaks: Part I

The following quotations are taken from our Lord Jesus Christ as set forth in the Holy Bible. I believe His message brings hope for people throughout the world. Many individuals are feeling insecure and anxious due to economic problems, natural catastrophes and trouble in governments and markets in various parts of the world. For those in Christ, our hope in anchored in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. He paid the penalty for all of our sins, and we know that we are truly forgiven and very soon one day He will return for us.

Although we are experiencing wickedness in high places around this world, we are assured through the words of our Lord that God is in control and that He is good.
Through His Word, “which He has magnified above His name,” (Psalm 138:2) God has promised, sometimes conditionally, to supply all of our needs, and wants and desires. He has also promised to deliver us form evil, protect us and heal us. All of these promises are available to those who are able to receive them by faith – faith that comes from hearing the Word of God. (Romans 10:17). Memorize His Word and hide it your heart. So let us begin with what the Lord says about himself, God the Father, God the Holy Spirit as well as many other areas of our lives during His ministry on earth.

About Himself

“Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” ` ~ John 18:37

“For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” ~ John 6:38-40

“Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My like that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” ~ John 10: 17, 18
