Job Opening : Chief Executive Officer

Operation Gratitude (Los Angeles, CA)

Operation Gratitude seeks a charismatic and motivated leader with military experience, or a strong affiliation to the military, to be its next Chief Executive Officer. Operation Gratitude annually assembles 200,000+ customized care packages filled with an assortment of goods and personal letters of appreciation. These packages are sent to Veterans, First Responders, New Recruits, Gold Star families, Wounded Heroes, their Care Givers, and to individually named U.S. service members deployed overseas and to their families waiting at home. Following the tragic events of 9/11, Founder and CEO Carolyn Blashek felt a strong desire to thank deployed service members. She started putting together care packages for men and women serving overseas and quickly expanded the operation to welcome supporters nationwide. Since the organization?s founding in 2003, Operation Gratitude?s 350,000+ volunteers and donors have shipped more than 1.75 Million Care Packages. The 2 Millionth Care Package will be assembled on December 9, 2017. With the achievement of this milestone, plus its 4-star reputation and healthy balance sheet, Operation Gratitude is poised to become the leading volunteer-focused, military support institution in the nation.
