HUDVAG “Walk In Their Foot Steps” New Boot/Shoe Collection Gearing Up for 2018 Giveaways

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Thursday, March 8, 2017, employees from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a component of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), requested the HUD/VAG Chair (Walter Elmore) to visit their office in Washington, D.C., for the purpose of delivering sixty (60) pairs of new boots/shoes for the 2018 “Walk In Their Foot Steps” New Boots/Shoes collection for homeless veterans, and their families, veterans transitioning from homeless to housing stability, and low-income/economically disadvantage veterans, and their families.

Ms. Angela Garner, Acting Chief of Staff, Marie Morgan Henry, (Management and Program Analyst), and Todd Minor, (Management and Program Analyst) from the Office of Customer Service and Public Engagement hand off new boots/shoes to the VAG.
